What the source label means
The label shows where a posting came from, so you can see the origin before you apply.
The source label shows where a posting came from, when JobzMall can attribute one. Read it on the posting, or paste the job URL at Ads Transparency. Candidates, employers, and journalists see the same label.
- Live Jobs come from an employer's official career page, or an equivalent employer-controlled channel, and carry the Live badge. They are refreshed from those signals. Use the badge to see that tie. The role can still close between updates.
- Marketplace listings are posted through a JobzMall employer account, or surfaced from network signals, public information, or job datasets. The label means JobzMall detected the listing. Detection is not proof the employer authorized it on JobzMall.
- Indexed channels are employer ATS feeds and boards, when those connections exist. The label means the role came through that connection.
If the source cannot be attributed with enough confidence, JobzMall does not invent one. A reviewed poster in the Verification Center is a separate fact from the source label.
The posting should also say when JobzMall last heard from the source, and where an application goes. Those fields are the Job Posting Nutrition Label. The Candidate Bill of Rights is the list of what you are entitled to know before you apply. How to use the label on one job is Is this job legit?.
