Record a video resume
Record once, in your own words, and reuse it across applications. Employers watch it with your profile.
A video resume lets you present your experience and the work you want, in your own words. You record it once. It stays on your profile and can go with more than one application, so an employer sees more than the document.
Record from Video Resume, or from your account once you are signed in. You need a camera and a microphone the browser is allowed to use. If the preview never starts, see Video recording.
What to say
- Your name and the work you do.
- One or two concrete things you have done, not a list of adjectives.
- The kind of role you are looking for now.
You can replace a video resume later from your profile. Replacing it updates what employers see going forward. It does not rewrite an application you already sent.
Who can watch it follows the profile. A private profile is not on the public web. Employers you apply to can see what you sent them. The three visibility choices are in How do I make my profile private?.
